How to Login

This module provides step-by-step guidance on how to access your Prancer tenant for the first time. Whether you're a new user or returning after a password reset, follow the instructions below to log in securely.

Step 1: Invitation Email

Once you are invited to join a Prancer tenant, you will receive an invitation email from the platform.

The email contains a password reset link. Click on this link to proceed to the password reset page.

Step 2: Reset Your Password

On the password reset page, follow the instructions to create a secure password for your account.

After successfully setting your password, you will be redirected to the Prancer login screen.

Step 3: Access the Portal

Navigate to the login page and enter your credentials:

  • Username: Your email address
  • Password: The one you just created

Click Login to enter the platform. Based on your assigned role and permissions, you may be directed to different landing pages, such as dashboard, collection management, or asset inventory.

Important Note: Company Name in URL

Prancer is a multi-tenant platform, and each organization is assigned a unique subdirectory within the portal URL. The URL structure follows this format:

https://portal.prancer.io/prancer-{{company-name}}

Be sure to identify your company name within Prancer, as it is used in:

  • URL access
  • Command-line interface (CLI) operations
  • Support requests and troubleshooting

You can find your company name by looking at the current URL when logged in. This is essential for working with the Prancer CLI and automation features.

To ensure smooth operation of the Prancer platform, please verify the following minimum requirements:

Machine Requirements

  • CPU: Minimum 2 cores
  • RAM: At least 8 GB
  • Storage: SSD recommended for performance
